Flute and Guitar Duets
SEVEN PIECES
Originally composed in 1975 for Virginia Thigpen and myself, SEVEN PIECES for Flute and Guitar was performed in the Festival of New American Music at California State University, Sacramento, in 1980 and reviewed as "seven tiny, lovely pieces" by the Sacramento Bee. The music was also reviewed in Soundboard (vol. XV, no. 3) as "...a pleasant welcome to a vast and growing repertoire of flute and guitar duos...."
