FOUR PIECES for Flute and Guitar: Plectranthus, Saguaro, Tradescantia, and Purshia. Three of these pieces were composed in 1975 and a fourth added in 1978. FOUR PIECES was reviewed in the 1988 fall issue of Soundboard (vol. XV, no. 3).

Although composed for and performed with flute and guitar by Virginia Thigpen and myself, these recordings were made with sampled flute and harp using Garritan instruments.
